Pleiades Wax Seal Pendant
Each hypo-allergenic antiqued sterling silver Pleiades pendant is made from our own original seal.
The symbol of a crescent moon and seven stars has been seen on works as far back as the Roman Empire, where it was variously associated with the Pleiades constellation and Emperor Septimius Severus, as well as being associated with the goddesses Hecate, Selene, Diana, and Venus.
Since then, the symbol has also appeared in various mystical texts throughout Europe and the Middle East.
In more recent times, it was adopted by the Daughters of Rebekah to represent the order of the universe.
Styling tip: We find that our wax seal pendants compliment a wide variety of aesthetics, including gothic, witchy, boho, mori, and dark academia. We love layering these pieces with other necklaces for a unique look, or wearing just one when we want something more laid back.
Due to the manufacturing process, each piece is unique. Distressed marks, irregularities, and organic effects are an expected result of this process and give each piece a unique character. Please allow us to select your piece for you.
